These fundamental expressions of our humanity have been lost within a westernised culture that has forgotten how to live through the lens of meaning, togetherness and intention.

Throughout the programme, participants will be guided through a four weeks immersive journey exploring our relationship to initiation, rites of passage, and the natural cycles of birth, life, death, decay, rebirth and renewal.
Through the mediums of theatre studies, visionary dance training, ritual-based practices, embodiment, somatic arts, family constellations and shadow work, participants will be invited into a rich process of artistic, personal and collective development. These practices are not simply tools for performance - they are invitations into the emotional body, asking us to meet grief, longing, joy, love, rage and tenderness, and to uncover the stories waiting beneath the surface.
At the heart of this programme is a simple question: what does it mean to be a storyteller? We believe it is to have the courage to feel, and to invite others into the honest expression of that feeling. The stories humanity most needs are not manufactured - they are lived, embodied and remembered. The artists we are calling forward are not simply performers, but vessels for these stories; conduits through which timeless human truths can move, awaken and be shared.
This immersive process is designed to refine your artistry from the inside out, cultivating meaningful expression in service of your personal evolution, creative potential and soul ripening.
The programme culminates in a full-scale ritual theatre production performed before an audience of up to 500 people.
While the choreography and theatrical framework are intentionally crafted, it is the depth of each artist's embodiment that gives the work its power. Through the transformative journey undertaken throughout the programme, participants cultivate the emotional depth required to embody - not merely perform - the universal themes of birth, death, decay, renewal and the full spectrum of the human experience. It is this lived experience that allows the work to transcend technique and become authentic storytelling.

At Eclectica, we understand artistic development as inseparable from human development.
While technical training remains an essential part of our methodology, we believe the most compelling performance emerges not from technique alone, but from an artist's capacity to embody the complexity of the human experience.
For this reason, our training extends beyond conventional performance education, into a rigorous process of personal inquiry, emotional development and embodied practice.
Our methodology integrates theatre studies, visionary dance, choreography and storytelling with ritual, rites of passage, family constellations, shadow work and contemplative practices. These disciplines are not approached as separate modalities, but as an integrated framework for cultivating artists whose work carries depth, authenticity and emotional resonance.
Rather than asking participants simply to represent grief, love, birth, death or transformation, we invite them into a meaningful relationship with these universal human experiences within themselves. It is through this process that performance moves beyond interpretation and into embodiment. It gives performance depth and gravity, inviting the audience into a shared felt experience.

Why an Artist Development Programme?
Throughout history, artists have gathered in periods of dedicated immersion to refine their craft, deepen their creative process, and produce meaningful work. An Artist Development Programme creates the conditions for accelerated artistic development by bringing artists together in concentrated periods of practice and creation. Here, learning compounds, relationships deepen, and artistry unfolds through continuity, repetition, and shared experience.
Spaces are limited to 50 participants and will likely be divided into two groups. We encourage early enrolment to avoid disappointment.

Anna-Maria is on the frontlines of leading a revolution of women who exist in fierce self-love and sovereign connection to their intrinsic female intelligence.
She is the co-founder and CEO of the Eclectica School of Womb-Craft and Visionary Dance, a holistic institution built on the foundations of sisterhood, embodied expression, and the reclamation of the matriarchal wisdom through the reintegration of celebrated and supported rights of passage.
Her medicine is rooted in un-domesticating the female spirit, re-villaging the heart of community, and integrating dance and expression as powerful healing modalities.
Anna-Maria’s line of work is deeply anchored in tending to the fractures that occur across the timeline of our lives and supporting women to re-access the depths of their own unique medicine.

Demi Lee Wilson is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Eclectica School of Womb-Craft and Visionary Dance. She is a Family Constellations Facilitator, Grief and Death Doula, Keeper of Thresholds, and facilitator of embodiment, visionary dance, and emotional integration.
Her work is devoted to guiding people through the great rites of passage that shape a human life. Passionate about rewilding birth and death, Demi believes that the thresholds we have sanitised, medicalised, or forgotten are often the very places where our deepest remembering awaits.
For over a decade, she has devoted herself to the study of somatic arts, embodiment, ceremonial practice, plant devotion, trauma and nervous system education, Internal Parts Work, death doulaship, family constellations, psychic boundaries, and ancestral healing. Rather than offering techniques alone, Demi weaves these disciplines into experiences that invite people into greater emotional honesty, embodied leadership, and authentic expression.
Her gift lies in helping people meet the parts of themselves that have been armoured through protection, grief, conditioning, and survival, creating space for greater freedom, creativity, and relational depth. Through compassionate witnessing, intuitive perception, and a deep respect for the body's innate intelligence, she supports others to reconnect with their instinct, their emotional landscape, and the wisdom that already lives within them.
As a facilitator, artist, and entrepreneur, Demi has spent more than 12 years co-creating the Eclectica movement - guiding thousands of people through immersive experiences that weave together ceremony, artistry, community, and profound personal transformation.

Lahni has been deeply woven into the Eclectica Tapestry across the past 8 years, sharing her compelling choreography codes and seeds of wisdom with hundreds of women on their journey of self reconciliation.
Lahni studied Contemporary Dance in one of Queensland North's Premier Performing Arts School and is one of our lead facilitators and choreographers.
Her visionary eye within the realms of dance and strong guidance will support you in expanding as a dancer and opening up new neural pathways of movement, moving you beyond the ordinary to express your true potential as a contemporary artist.Lahni has also studied Transpersonal Counselling, and has a holistic understanding of Trauma and the Nervous System. Her extensive training in Plant Devotion, Ceremonialism, and Shamanism supports her in holding a multidimensional space for her participants to thrive.

Alana has been deeply woven into the Eclectica tapestry for the past eight years as a performer, facilitator and creative collaborator, bringing a distinctly mythic lens to embodiment, movement and transformational practice.
Her multidisciplinary training spans Somatic Education, Menstrual Cycle Coaching, Archetypal Embodiment and Cyclical Living, alongside her ongoing studies in Death Doulaship and Herbalism. Her work is deeply informed by mythology, archetypal practice, women’s mysteries, ritual, deep ecology and the transformative terrain of death and rebirth.
Within Eclectica, Alana supports dancers to explore the meaning and symbolism held within movement — moving beyond choreography as form and into movement as story, ritual and embodied language. Her work with death, grief and the underworld particularly informs her approach to Death Dancing, inviting dancers to embody themes of surrender, decay, transformation and renewal through the body.
With a profound reverence for imagination and the mythic, Alana has a unique ability to bring conceptual and symbolic material into physical expression, supporting dancers to deepen the emotional and archetypal worlds that live beneath their movement.

Shelley Oak is a somatic guide, ceremonialist, sexologist and birth doula devoted to supporting women through the intimate thresholds and rites of passage that shape a life.
Her work moves through the interconnected terrains of love, sexuality, birth and death, weaving somatic practice, ritual, embodiment and feminine wisdom to support women in deepening their relationship with themselves, others and the passages that transform them.
With a particular devotion to women’s mysteries and womb-centred practice, Shelley works with yoni steaming and other embodied and ritual practices as pathways into deeper relationship with the body, womb and cyclical nature of womanhood. Her work explores intimacy, sexuality, relationship, birth, sovereignty and the many thresholds of becoming.
She is also the founder of Dark Mother, a ritual-based body of work devoted to womb health, healing and deeper connection to the heart, womb and body.
Within Eclectica, Shelley brings this somatic and ceremonial lens into the creative process, supporting participants to deepen their relationship with sensation, instinct, intimacy and the stories held within the body.

ADVANCED CHOREOGRAPHER, PROFESSIONALLY-TRAINED DANCER, LEAD VISIONARY.
Heidi is one of Eclectica’s lead choreographers, bringing a rich foundation of technical dance training, embodied practice and deep ecological wisdom into the Eclectica tapestry.
Trained across Ballet, Contemporary and other dance forms, Heidi brings both technical precision and an instinctual quality to her movement language. Her choreographic work invites dancers beyond simply learning movement, supporting them to deepen their artistry, expand their physical vocabulary and discover new possibilities of expression within the body.
Alongside her work as a dancer and choreographer, Heidi is a 500-hour trained Yoga Teacher in the Embodied Flow™ lineage, bringing a deep understanding of embodiment, somatic awareness and the relationship between body, perception and movement into her facilitation.
Her work is also deeply informed by her background as an Environmental Sociologist and her ongoing devotion to Deep Ecology and Re-Wilding.
Within Eclectica, Heidi weaves these worlds together: the discipline of a technically trained dancer, the sensitivity of embodied practice, and a reverence for our more-than-human world.

Nicole, also known as Wilqa Nina, is a Somatic Ceremonialist and Ritual Dance Facilitator whose work explores the meeting place between body, soul, ritual and expanded states of consciousness.
Her multidisciplinary practice weaves somatic embodiment, ceremonial practice, ritual dance, yogic philosophy and soul attunement, alongside ancestral and energetic approaches to healing. At the heart of her work is a devotion to bringing the soma and soul into deeper relationship — grounding spiritual experience into the intelligence and lived experience of the body.
Nicole’s approach moves between the ancestral and the cosmic, the physical and the unseen. Drawing upon lived experience, intuitive and channeled practice, and her own ongoing path of spiritual inquiry, she creates spaces that invite participants into deeper listening, remembrance and connection with their inner worlds.
Within Eclectica, Nicole brings this ceremonial and somatic lens into movement through Ritual Dance, supporting participants to experience dance as more than choreography — as a practice of attunement, expression and communion. Her facilitation invites movement to become a meeting place between instinct and intention, giving the body space to express what may otherwise remain unseen.
Grounded by a playful spirit and a deep reverence for the Earth, Nicole’s work is devoted to cultivating greater connection between body, soul, community and the living world.

Vicky is an accomplished vocal and performance artist whose extraordinarily colourful career spans the worlds of Opera, Transcendental Performance Art, Embodiment, Voice, Sound and the Liminal.
With a profound understanding of vibration, voice and the body as instruments of expression, Vicky supports artists to move beyond the constraints of habitual identity and access greater range, depth and freedom within their creative expression. Her work invites the performer to become a conduit for story - allowing sound, movement and meaning to move through the body rather than simply being performed by it.
A bridger between worlds, Vicky works at the meeting place of the technical and the instinctual, the embodied and the unseen. Through voice, vibration and expanded embodiment, she supports participants to access new dimensions of storytelling and discover expressions that exist beyond their familiar creative vocabulary.
Within Eclectica, Vicky brings her extensive experience in performance art, voice and embodiment into the realm of Visionary Dance, supporting artists to deepen their presence, expand their expressive capacity and inhabit their work with greater authenticity, potency and artistic depth.
THE THEATRE EXPERIENCE
Theatre is one of the oldest ceremonial spaces known to humanity. It has the capacity to transport both performer and audience beyond ordinary consciousness into a shared field of imagination, emotion and meaning.
Throughout history, ritual and performance have served as bridges between the conscious and unconscious, inviting transformation through embodied storytelling.
Performing within this residency is not simply about presenting choreography. It is an act of creative initiation. A profound opportunity to expand your capacity for presence, vulnerability and authentic expression while participating in an experience that deeply impacts both performer and witness.

A live online induction held prior to the in-person training. This session will introduce participants to the programme, facilitators and fellow artists, while establishing the foundations for the journey ahead.
Attendance is required as part of the programme.

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST.
Payment is required via Stripe using either credit/debit card or direct debit. Eclectica Hub does not store or have access to your payment information.
If you experience difficulty meeting your agreed payment schedule, please contact us before your next payment is due so we can discuss an alternative arrangement.
Late payments will receive automatic payment reminders. If payment remains outstanding and we are required to follow up personally, an administration fee of $35 may be applied.
Failure to respond to payment reminders may be considered a cancellation of your enrolment, and the cancellation policy below will apply.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Due to the significant planning, venue hire and production costs associated with RITES, all enrolments are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances beyond your control (such as serious illness or a family emergency), you may apply to:
transfer your enrolment to a future Eclectica offering (subject to approval), or
transfer your place to another participant of your choosing.
Requests must be supported by appropriate documentation (such as a medical certificate where applicable), and all transfers are subject to Eclectica Hub's approval.
Participant transfers are permitted up until two weeks prior to the residency commencement date. It is the original participant's responsibility to arrange the transfer and ensure the new participant completes all enrolment documentation.
If Eclectica Hub is required to cancel or postpone the residency due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will first endeavour to reschedule the program. If this is not possible, participants will be offered an appropriate refund, less any unrecoverable third-party costs already incurred.
Costume Policy
Costumes are not included in the programme investment and are the responsibility of each participant.
Where possible, Eclectica Hub will endeavour to keep costume requirements affordable while maintaining the artistic integrity of the production.
Participants will receive costume information well in advance of the theatre production, including any purchasing requirements, sizing information and important deadlines.
Costumes form an integral part of the final theatre production, and participants are expected to source and bring the required costume items to rehearsals and performance days as directed.
