Have you taken the time to truly integrate and digest the passages that have informed your relationship to womanhood and has essentially shaped you?

Through our journey of female development, we encounter many passages and thresholds that shape and define our experience as women.

Some of these passages include, but are not limited to: birth, menarche, the loss of virginity, abortion and miscarriage, sexual abuse, womb-related grief, medical trauma, hysterectomy, menopause, and any experience that brings us into relationship with change, transformation, and growth.

Many of these passages are ill-resourced, neglected, or bypassed without adequate acknowledgement and digestion. When this occurs, fragmentation can emerge within the psyche, leaving us disconnected from the gifts, wisdom, and transformation that these experiences hold.

To carry forward the wisdom of these passages, we must be willing to revisit them. We must allow ourselves to reconnect with the emotional and somatic terrain that lives beneath them and honour the ways they have shaped us.

One of the most powerful ways we can do this is through ritual acknowledgement.

Inner authority is an unrestrained life force anchored in self-intimacy, truth, humility, honesty, and the nervous system's capacity to hold the unfiltered expression of who we are in our essence.

Together, we will descend beyond performance. Beyond appeasement. Beyond the inherited patterns that keep us living in the illusion of safety, yet inevitably leave us feeling stuck, small, and disconnected from our own life force.

If we desire to live with conviction, we must first become intimate with the unconscious forces that compel us to abandon ourselves. We must be willing to meet the parts of us that learned to shrink, appease, perform, and contort in order to survive.

Only then can we reclaim the authority that has always been ours.
