The land has been calling, your hearts have been calling, and we have been listening – waiting for the right moment to descend onto your sacred homelands and share wisdom, truth, and feminine conviction.

The Reclamation is one of Eclectica’s formative bodies of work that explores the feminine spirit through the pathways of visionary dance, ritual, ceremony, and the integration of celebrated and supported Rites of Passage. It is an informative and educational container that bridges ancient wisdom with modern-day self-development practices.

It is a space of ripening one’s soul through returning to the body as a sanctuary, a gateway to ancestral knowledge and feminine wisdom, a bridge of remembrance, and a place of returning.

So… what exactly are we returning to? And what does it mean to be a bridge of remembrance?

Our true radiance has been somewhat diluted.

Let us acknowledge the impact of thousands of years of feminine suppression, the repercussions of religious indoctrination, the domestication of the female spirit, and the dissociation from our internal compass due to the negligence, abuse, and medicalisation of the womb.

Amidst all of this trauma, erasure, and disrespect – we remain innately tethered to the wisdom of our primordial ancestors through the gateway of the womb. In returning to the womb, we are returning to the radiant centre of our female radiance, and in coming together with other willing sisters, we pave the path for remembering our power through the sacred mirrors we hold up to one another.

This is not a dance class – it is a reckoning with all that has been lost, suppressed, and forgotten through sacred movement that awakens the soul to the wisdom of our matriarchal line, rippling back to the primitive instinct of our first ancestors who walked this earth.

We are remembering.
Remembering how to inhabit and encompass the fullness of our hips, our wombs as a cauldron of aliveness, fertility, and creative radiance.
Remembering how to live in kinship and solidarity with the women who surround us.
Remembering what it is to thrive as an extension of nature – nourished, liberated, and free.
Remembering the wisdom that seeds the fabric of these bodies we get to call home.

These sentiments are simply our birthright.

We have a duty to remember and return so we may pave a brighter future for our descendants and bring justice to our ancestors who did not have the guidance, resources, and support to reclaim that which has been lost, suppressed, and forgotten.
