A two day immersion tending to the sacred dimensions of the Mother Wound & Maternal entanglement.

This body of work illuminates the ways in which we are subconsciously loyal and entangled with maternal wounding. It explores and unpacks what it means to free oneself from these entanglements and alchemise inherited wounds into agency.

The womb invites us into a living archive of memory. Within it live the imprints of our own life experiences, as well as the ancestral patterns we unconsciously carry for the women who walked before us. Together we will journey through the sacred terrain of the womb space, clearing that which is no longer serving our highest vitality.

Through practices and ceremony we bring attention to the womb space, supporting the body in releasing stagnant imprints while opening pathways for ancestral healing and renewed vitality.

The maternal field stretches far beyond our individual mothers….

Through her lives the echo of her mother, and her mother before her, the accumulated grief, silences, survival strategies, sacrifices, and unresolved longings of entire lineages of women. Many of us carry these inheritances unconsciously.

We may repeat patterns of self-abandonment, emotional enmeshment, over-responsibility, suppression of truth, difficulty receiving love, or subtle loyalties that keep us bound to the unresolved pain of those who came before us. These loyatlies to the mother and the maternal line runs deep within the female psyche and body, and often live beneath conscious awareness.

A daughter may carry her mother's grief.
She may unconsciously limit her own joy so she does not outshine her.
She may repeat relational dynamics that mirror unresolved maternal pain.
Or she may live in subtle rebellion - pushing against the mother while still remaining psychologically entangled with her.

Both loyalty and rejection can keep us bound. This work invites us to see these invisible threads with clarity.

When the maternal field is left unexplored, it shapes how we mother ourselves, how we relate to other women, how we inhabit our bodies, and how we step into leadership, creativity, intimacy and power.

To tend to the Mother Wound is not about blaming our mothers. It is about recognising the wider field we were born into so we may step graciously into deeper sovereignty.

In a society that profits from the absence of matriarchal wisdom and personal authority, we carry a sacred duty to reclaim the aliveness of our expression - so that our daughters, our descendants, and the generations we influence no longer wear the chains and shackles we once did. This is legacy work.
