A deep dive into the virtues, qualities and wisdom of the Rose, explored through the pathways of Visionary Dance, Ritual, and practices of Remembrance. This immersion will conclude with an intimate concert, where you will have the opportunity to perform with Mayra Stark on her international tour.

Though, have you danced her into the fabric of your being?
Have you sung her into your spirit? Have you allowed your heart to be pierced open by her thorns?
The Way of the Rose is a four day deepening into the heart of her sacred mysteries, exploring and embodying her teachings through Visionary Dance, prayer-formance, somatic arts and practices rooted in feminine remembrance.
This container is a space of ripening one’s soul through returning to the body as a sanctuary, a gateway to ancestral knowledge and feminine wisdom, a bridge of remembrance, and a place of returning.
What does it mean to be a Bridge of Remembrance?
Our true radiance has been somewhat diluted.
Let us acknowledge the impact of thousands of years of feminine suppression - the repercussions of religious indoctrination and the severing from the living intelligence of nature that once guided our every move.
Amidst all this trauma, erasure, and forgetting, we remain innately tethered to the wisdom of our primordial ancestors through the living current of the Rose.
To return to the Rose is to return to the radiant centre of remembrance - the pulse of beauty, truth, and sovereignty that has never left us.
And in gathering with others who heed this call, we pave a path of reclamation through the sacred mirrors we hold for one another.
This is not a dance class - it is a ceremony of embodied remembrance - an awakening of the soul through movement, breath, and prayer. A re-threading of our bodies to the lineage of the Rose: the mystery schools of love, truth, and sovereignty that have pulsed quietly beneath every age of forgetting.
Guest Facilitator and Headlining Artist:
Marya Stark
Marya Stark is an enchanting vocalist, composer, storyteller, and myth‑maker whose work flows from the threshold between the seen and unseen. She combines classical vocal training and a background in music therapy with a deep reverence for myth, ritual, and energetic healing to craft immersive sonic experiences.
Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Marya has released multiple solo albums - most recently Weightless - and collaborates in projects like Scarlet Crow and the collective Starling Arrow. Beyond her music, she mentors creatives through her Temple of the Muse, teaching voice, songcraft, inner alchemy, and embodied expression. She currently lives in Grass Valley, California.
Marya will join us on Day 4 of the intensive as a Guest Facilitator, and drop us deep into conduit mode so we can collectively explore the dimensions of our artistry. That evening, we will have the honour of performing alongside her in an intimate concert held at St Marks Church, in Fitzroy.
Throughout this 2-day intensive, we will journey through intentional prayer-based choreography created to one of Marya Stark’s songs - a tapestry of embodiment, remembrance, and devotion.
The experience will culminate in a live stage performance alongside Marya herself, as part of her Australian tour - a breathtaking collaboration where participants offer a dance transmission born from the depths of this work.
This is an invitation to be witnessed in your full, unguarded expression and raw aliveness before an electric audience gathered to receive the medicine of Marya’s music and your embodied prayer.

We ask that you please bring your own lunch each day. There will be time and space allocated to eat together on-site. You're also welcome to bring snacks, tea, and anything else you need to feel nourished throughout the day.

REFUND POLICY:
By enrolling in this Immersion, you are making a conscious commitment to yourself, to us, and to the container we are creating together. Your place has been factored into our budget and requires significant preparation and resourcing - including staffing, venue, and material costs. It is therefore held exclusively for you.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, including if you choose to withdraw from the Immersion at any stage. It is natural for depth work to bring up internal edges or discomfort; this is part of the process and not grounds for a change-of-mind refund. Once the container has commenced, your place cannot be reallocated or resold, and the financial commitments associated with your enrolment therefore remain in effect.
If you are unable to participate due to serious and unexpected circumstances outside your control - such as major illness or a genuine family emergency - you may apply to:
Transfer your place to a future offering, or
Offer/sell your place to a friend or nominated person, provided this occurs before the Immersion begins and is subject to our approval.
We may request reasonable supporting documentation so we can understand your situation. Approval of a transfer is at our sole discretion and depends on timing, capacity, and the nature of the circumstances.
If we are required to cancel or postpone the Immersion due to circumstances beyond our control, we will first attempt to reschedule within 6 months. If you cannot attend the rescheduled dates, or if the Immersion must be cancelled entirely, we will work with you to arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
