Demi asks me intently, “How’s your relationship with money?”
We are playing the question game, exploring one another’s current season with sex, love, career and money.
I look out at the glistening sun setting over the vast oceanscape, raising my Margherita to the sky… “I love money and money loves me!” - we both laugh at my conviction, yet deep down I know that my words are lacking gravity.
I look like a woman in her power.
Seated on the deck of a high-end Balinese rooftop bar, surrounded by seafood and dressed in clothes I bought on a whim earlier that day (because I could). But something’s missing. I have money… But do I know how to care for it?
We hear a lot about “Embodying the Queen Codes” - but how honest are we being with ourselves when it comes to having a grounded and respectful relationship with our finances?
When we break it down, is the archetype of ‘The Queen’ truly financially empowered? Does she lead herself with discernment, direction? Is she internally resourced? Or simply upheld by the systems that have raised her?
What happens when the systems that have fed her, clothed her and sustained her collapse? Does she have the knowledge to navigate times of uncertainty? Can she stand anchored and assured when the ground beneath her shifts?
True Financial Empowerment is not just about
“ABUNDANCE CODES”
It’s about understanding the financial systems we operate under and knowing what to do as those systems shift.
Without the groundwork, the channels of innovation, creativity and resourcefulness don’t have a leg to stand on. To thrive we must be informed of the more mundane, systemic, tangible aspects of money. I know so many business owners who haven’t done their tax for 10+ years, or they freeze in conversations around investment and GST.
I was one of them. Behind the thriving entrepreneur there were cracks. Overwhelm, avoidance, dissociation from responsibility. I have been royally humbled in the last two years. Money has illuminated to me all that’s been lacking in my fundamental relationship to it, the ways I have disrespected it, mismanaged it, dissociated from it and taken it for granted. Knowledge is power.
I have learned a lot. And I am still learning. This is why I have assembled a team of incredible women to inject knowledge, wisdom and an informed understanding into the feminine collective and the way we relate to finances.
Held by a Council of Women — rooted, resourced, and financially literate - gathered in devotion to anchoring a new paradigm of feminine wealth and leadership.

This is us - two women who learned the hard way.
We’ve made the kind of financial mistakes that no one talks about - and we want you to learn from them. Because they’ve been costly.
When we began, we were passionate and purpose-driven - but financially unprepared. Our business originally operated under a sole trader, with every cent of revenue flowing straight into Annie’s personal bank account.
We thought we had a handle on what money was actually ours, and what needed to go to facilitators, venues, and the tax office. But because it was all mixed together in one account - and nothing got paid out before the end of the financial year - Annie got taxed on the whole lot.
Even the money that was never really hers to begin with.
It was… fun. Educational. Expensive.
We didn’t understand GST. We offered one-year payment plans without realizing we needed the money upfront to pay venues. We avoided tax, didn’t keep receipts, and our budgeting process? Oh, it was a vibe.
We’d whip open an Excel spreadsheet five minutes before a meeting, throw in some hopeful numbers, maybe a rainbow gradient if we were feeling fancy - and call it a day.
There was no strategy. No checking twice. Just scribbling digits, guesstimates, and a prayer to the financial gods. We also didn’t put anything back into the business. Because, obviously.
We projected scarcity onto our clients and attracted financial inconsistency in return. We didn’t have a bookkeeper. We didn’t have a financial advisor. We didn’t make monthly financial plans, projections, or sales sheets.
We made so many mistakes that cost us up to $20,000. We’re not telling you this to scare you. We’re telling you this because we want better for you. You don’t have to figure it out the hard way. We’re here to share what we’ve learnt, and support you in building something sustainable.
We’re not ashamed of these mistakes anymore, because they’ve become our greatest teachers. But if you can skip the financial chaos and get to clarity faster? Please do.
