The Reclamation is a four-day intensive inquiry into self, exploring the landscapes of somatic awareness, movement, ritual and visionary dance. It is a deep dive into the ethos that is Eclectica and an opportunity to rewild the domesticated aspects of the human psyche. It offers a thread of remembrance to our innate ways of being, through gathering in circle and reclaiming feminine rites of passage.

This intensive is for all levels of dance, you do not require previous experience. This is not a space to seek perfection or technique, this is a space to unravel to the layers of your soul in the safe custodianship of sisterhood.

Together we will midwife one another through great states of metamorphosis, working with the foundations of ceremony, somatic remedy, intentional choreography, and medicinal movement, as allies to mediate transformation.

Throughout the experience, participants will learn a choreographed transmission that is rooted in the concept of reclamation. It will explore coded movement that unearths the aspects of the feminine spirit that have been cast into shadow. On the final day this dance transmission will be filmed as a compelling video project that all participants will have access to.

In essence, this course will work with both ceremony-based rites of passage initiations alongside structured movement - to cultivate a deeper relationship with the body's somatic, emotional, and spiritual intelligence, while using storytelling elements to mediate authenticity, healing and empowerment. Through this passage, the alchemical power of dance is accessed and expressed. 

This initiation is for women and womb-holders - it is appropriate and supportive for all levels of dance.

  • Anna-Maria - CEO & Co-Founder

    Anna-Maria is on the frontlines of leading a revolution of women who exist in fierce self-love and sovereign connection to their intrinsic female intelligence. She is the co-founder and CEO of the Eclectica School of Womb-Craft and Visionary Dance, a holistic institution built on the foundations of sisterhood, embodied expression, and the reclamation of the matriarchal wisdom through the reintegration of celebrated and supported rights of passage. Her medicine is rooted in un-domesticating the female spirit, re-villaging the heart of community, and integrating dance and expression as powerful healing modalities.

    Anna-Maria’s line of work is deeply anchored in tending to the fractures that occur across the timeline of our lives and supporting women to re-access the depths of their own unique medicine. With a particular passion for birth, eroticism, and ancestral connection, her legacy is igniting waves of radical self-love and soul regeneration across a global sisterhood.

  • Demi Lee - Director & Co-Founder

    Demi Lee is a weaver of the wild, a facilitator in embodiment and choreography, and one of Eclectica’s lead facilitators and creative directors. Her passion is fostering a deep connection to earth, self, spirit, life, death, grief, and community - through re-wilding both our inner and outer landscapes. Leading from instinct, intuition, and shamanic protocol, alongside 10+ years of plant devotion and training in various healing modalities including Parts Work, her power lies in supporting people to explore their emotional landscape and de-armour the parts that are holding themselves back from liberating their most uninhibited expression.

    Through compassionate witnessing and mirroring, and the exploration of limiting blocks and patterns, Demi Lee’s intuitive lens will support you in understanding your body and emotional landscape. Through her ten years of devotion to the Eclectica movement, she has gained and cultivated many tools and resources that have empowered her to become an empowered leader and successful entrepreneur, sharing her medicine on a global scale.

REFUND POLICY:

This course is strictly non-refundable.

In the event of extreme crisis of illness participants may apply to transfer their course fees to a future course or training with Eclectica (either online or in person) OR privately sell their space to a friend. Note that is is your responsibility to find this friend, not Eclectica’s.

When securing your space, you agree to these terms and conditions and understand the following:

  • In the event of extreme crisis of illness participants MUST prove this by showing a Doctor’s Certificate or something of similar validity.

  • Transfered fees must be used within an 18month period.

  • Eclectica must be notified of any name changes at least 48 hours before intensive commencement.

  • Application to transfer fees due to crisis or extreme illness but be requested a minimum of two weeks before course commencement.

We are a performing arts company with a passion for weaving together dance with ritual theatre. Our performances are powerful works of art that can best be described as a metamorphic transmission. We tell stories with the intention of taking our audience on a thought-provoking journey that makes them drop deeply into feeling.

We own a Melbourne-based Dance School and run immersions both interstate and overseas, that offer women and womb-bearers the opportunity to discover who they are beyond social conditioning.

Our mission is to fill the gaps in our social construct and create a safe container for women and womb-bodied people to return to their truest nature through modern-day rites of passage.
