A 2-day visionary dance intensive held within the Byron Shire - where participants are guided through ceremonial, prayer-based movement and mythic embodiment. Over the weekend you will learn a choreographed piece to Marya Stark’s music, entering the devotional tones of the Rose through ritual, remembrance, and the alchemy of visionary dance.
On the evening of Day 2, this immersion culminates in a live concert where you will have the rare opportunity to perform alongside Marya Stark as part of her international tour.

Rose and Bone is a two-day descent into the mythic feminine - a ceremonial immersion where the body becomes the vessle for the ancient art of storytelling and service.
Here, you will remember how your Ancestors danced - in devotion, in ecstasy, in reverence - letting the Rose guide you into her language of tenderness and thorn. Letting the Bone transport you back to what is ancient, innate, and indestructible.
Across these two days in the Byron Shire, you will enter the pathways of Visionary Dance and prayer-based movement - learning what it means to empty out, to be moved rather than to move, and to become a conduit through which frequency, story, and feminine myth pour themselves into form.
And on the final evening, you will step into the chamber of Marya Stark’s concert - not as an audience member, but as a carrier of the Rose and a keeper of the Bone. As a woman opening the hearts of others, through the oldest language we have ever known:
Embodied Story, Feminine Ritual, and Movement as Healing.
Our radiance has been dimmed - not lost.
Centuries of suppression, religious severing, and disconnection from the wild intelligence that once moved through women have pulled us away from our instinctual knowing.
And yet, the thread remains.
The Rose still lives in the body - in the pulse of our heart beat, in the aliveness of our expression, in the place where beauty and truth rise without permission.
To return to the Rose is to return to that inner flame of remembrance.
And when women gather in this way, the reclamation is amplified - each body becoming a mirror, a catalyst, a spark for the others.
This is not a dance class.
It is a ceremony of movement as prayer, breath as devotion, the body re-threading itself to the ancient lineage of the Rose.

Marya Stark
Marya Stark is an enchanting vocalist, composer, storyteller, and myth‑maker whose work flows from the threshold between the seen and unseen. She combines classical vocal training and a background in music therapy with a deep reverence for myth, ritual, and energetic healing to craft immersive sonic experiences.
Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Marya has released multiple solo albums - most recently Weightless - and collaborates in projects like Scarlet Crow and the collective Starling Arrow. Beyond her music, she mentors creatives through her Temple of the Muse, teaching voice, songcraft, inner alchemy, and embodied expression. She currently lives in Grass Valley, California.
We will practice with Marya on Day 2 of the intensive, before the live concert, so we can all drop deep into conduit mode and explore the dimensions of our artistry. That evening, we will have the honour of performing alongside her in an intimate concert held in the Byron Shire.

Throughout this 2-day intensive, we will journey through intentional prayer-based choreography created to one of Marya Stark’s songs - a tapestry of embodiment, remembrance, and devotion.
The experience will culminate in a live stage performance alongside Marya herself, as part of her Australian tour - a breathtaking collaboration where participants offer a dance transmission born from the depths of this work.
This is an invitation to be witnessed in your full, unguarded expression and raw aliveness before an electric audience gathered to receive the medicine of Marya’s music and your embodied prayer.

(Concert performance with Marya Stark will run from 6pm – 10pm on Sunday.)
FOOD & ACCOMMODATION:
Food and accommodation are not included in the immersion cost - the price covers facilitation and the body of work only.
Please bring your own lunch each day. There will be dedicated breaks and space to eat on-site. You’re welcome to bring any snacks, tea, or comforts you need to stay nourished.
If you’re travelling from outside the Northern Rivers, please organise nearby accommodation. A WhatsApp group will be set up for participants who want to connect and explore shared options.

Refund Policy
By enrolling in this Immersion, you are making a conscious commitment to yourself, to us, and to the container we are creating together. Your place has been factored into our budget and requires significant preparation and resourcing - including staffing, venue, and material costs. It is therefore held exclusively for you.We do not offer refunds for change of mind, including if you choose to withdraw from the Immersion at any stage. It is natural for depth work to bring up internal edges or discomfort; this is part of the process and not grounds for a change-of-mind refund. Once the container has commenced, your place cannot be reallocated or resold, and the financial commitments associated with your enrolment therefore remain in effect.If you are unable to participate due to serious and unexpected circumstances outside your control - such as major illness or a genuine family emergency - you may apply to:Transfer your place to a future offering, orOffer/sell your place to a friend or nominated person, provided this occurs before the Immersion begins and is subject to our approval.
We may request reasonable supporting documentation so we can understand your situation. Approval of a transfer is at our sole discretion and depends on timing, capacity, and the nature of the circumstances.If we are required to cancel or postpone the Immersion due to circumstances beyond our control, we will first attempt to reschedule within 6 months. If you cannot attend the rescheduled dates, or if the Immersion must be cancelled entirely, we will work with you to arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
